Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using KosEquip, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. What KosEquip provides

KosEquip is a marketplace platform that connects equipment sellers and buyers. We provide tools for posting listings, searching inventory, and facilitating contact between parties. We are not a party to any transaction between buyer and seller. We do not take possession of, inspect, certify, or guarantee any equipment listed on the platform.

3. Seller responsibilities

• You must own the equipment you list, or be authorized to sell it.
• All listing information must be accurate. Fraudulent listings will result in immediate account termination.
• You are responsible for completing any transaction you agree to with a buyer.
• Prices shown are asking prices. You are free to negotiate.

4. Buyer responsibilities

• Inspect all equipment before purchase. KosEquip strongly recommends in-person inspection.
• Conduct your own due diligence. Verified Dealer status confirms business identity only — not equipment condition.
• Use written purchase agreements for all transactions.

5. Prohibited conduct

• Posting equipment you do not own or are not authorized to sell.
• Posting fraudulent, misleading, or inaccurate listings.
• Scraping, data mining, or automated access to the platform.
• Creating multiple accounts to circumvent suspensions.
• Contacting buyers or sellers for purposes other than the equipment transaction.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

KosEquip is provided "as is." We make no warranty that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that listings are accurate. We are not responsible for the conduct of buyers or sellers or the outcome of any transaction.

7. Limitation of liability

KosEquip's total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the fees you paid to KosEquip in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after a change is posted constitutes acceptance. We will notify users by email of material changes.
